Mickey

Disney has created one of the globally best-known figures in 1928. The mouse became the mascot for a far-flung family entertainment empire. Mickey turned into an icon of utopian, idealized dreams for which people yearn and a symbol of commodification of culture. As such, the Disney star has been theme to many artworks – some of the more famous work were created by Damien Hirst, Darick Maasen, Andy Warhol or Nicolas Rubinstein. Our design is to be seen as an addition to this dialogue.
