Homage to Vasarely
Many consider Hungarian-French artist Victor Vasarely as one of the earliest and most influential ambassador of the Op Art (Optical Art) movement. Op Art emerged from Cubism Futurism and Dadaism in the 1960s. The art form is a perceptual experience. It plays with a tense figure-ground juxtaposition where lines and patterns create mesmerizing effects. Colors have often been used to underline this impact.
