Protective Eye

Add to wishlist

The Protective Eye, also known as Nazar, is a charm used to repel the evil eye. Many cultures believe that receiving the evil eye will cause misfortune or injury. The idea of an evil curse that is cast by a malevolent glare usually given to a person when they are unaware appears already in the Old Testament.  Talismans created to protect against the evil eye are widely known across all cultures around the Mediterranean Sea and have become a popular souvenir with tourists.

The design of our Protective Eye follows less the typical concentric circles – blue, white, black – but graphic arrangements originating in minimalism.
